800 Meter Run
Ravenswood's Blake Jarrell got the field out to a quick start leading out of the break. Ritchie's Jarett Allender assumed the lead just before the 200 meter mark. He would hold that lead through the end of the first lap, coming through in 58. Blake Jarrell was in 2nd right behind him. Magnolia's Spencer Shepard was in 3rd at 59. In 4th, also at 59 was Madonna's Jakob McCombs. Ravenswood's Bryce Jarrell was in 5th, also at 59. Doddridge's Gage Smith was in 6th at 60 seconds. With 300 to go, Shepard started to move, getting by Blake Jarrell and Allender. Jarrell would repsond, but Shepard would have full control of the lead by the turn. In the turn, Shepard edged his lead out just a bit over Blake Jarrell as those two pulled away from the rest of the field. Bryce Jarrell made the pass into 3rd midway through the turn. Down the stretch, Shepard would pull away for the win in 2:00.82. Blake Jarrell would retain the 2nd spot in 2:02.58. Bryce Jarrell would hold the 3rd spot in 2:03.45 holding off the late charges of Smith, who finished 4th in 2:03.78 and Buffalo's Riley Long, who finished 5th in 2:03.94. Allender would hold onto the 6th spot in 2:04.43.
RunWV's Current Score: 19 of 24.

1600 Meter Run
The field went out aggressively with Doddridge's Carter Lipscomb leading out of the break. Ravenswood's Blake Jarrell would move into the lead before the turn. At the end of lap 1, it was Blake Jarrell in the lead at 1:02 with teammate Bryce Jarrell in 2nd, also at 1:02. Lipscomb was in 3rd at 1:03. Paw Paw's Dominic Tanouye was in 4th and Tyler Consolidated's Spencer Corley was in 5th, also at 1:03. Madonna's Angelo Quattrocchi was in 6th at 1:04. At the end of lap 2, Blake Jarrell maintained the lead at 2:13, but Lipscomb was at his side. Bryce Jarrell was in 3rd, also at 2:13. Quattrocchi was in 4th at 2:14. Tanouye was in 5th at 2:15. Ritchie's Kent Bee had moved into 6th at 2:17. On lap 3, Lipscomb moved into the lead, as the front four started to pull away. At the 1000 meter mark, Blake Jarrell would make a move back into the lead and quickly generate a small gap. Bryce Jarrell would follow into 2nd, but Lipscomb would get that back. Blake Jarrell would lead at the bell at 3:25 with Lipscomb in 2nd and Bryce Jarrell in 3rd, both at 3:26. Quattrocchi was in a close 4th at 3:27. Corley was in 5th at 3:30, and Clay-Battelle's Holden Ammons was right at his side, moving into the 6th spot. On the final lap, Blake Jarrell would extend his lead to over 5 meters in the 1st turn, and Bryce Jarrell moved around Lipscomb. Those two were opening a gap on Quattrocchi. On the backstretch, Blake Jarrell would extend the lead to close to 10 meters. Lipscomb would start to attack, moving alongside Bryce Jarrell. Jarrell would fight, but Lipscomb would squeeze by as they headed into the final 200 meters. With 130 to go, Blake Jarrell was still clear of the battle, and Bryce Jarrell moved back around Lipscomb. The two were racing each other and pulling closer to Blake Jarrell, but there would not be enough time for that as Blake Jarrell maintained his lead to the finish line, taking it in 4:31.38. Lipscomb would outduel Bryce Jarrell, edging past in the last 20 meters to take 2nd in 4:32.30 to Bryce's 4:32.47. Ammons would close really well to move into 4th in 4:36.63. Quattrocchi would hold the 5th spot in 4:39.11. Corley would claim the final spot in 4:41.69.
RunWV's Current Score: 24 of 30.

3200 Meter Run
Ravenswood's Blake Jarrell got the field out quickly through the break, but at the end of lap 1, it was Doddridge's Carter Lipscomb in the lead at 1:08 with Blake Jarrell and Ravenswood's Bryce Jarrell in 3rd, both also at 1:08. Ritchie's Kent Bee was in 4th at 1:09 with South Harrison's Carter Bowie in 5th, also at 1:09 and Buffalo's Malachi Woods in 6th, also at 1:09. The pace slowed a bit on lap 2, which kept 12 runners in contact with the main pack. Lipscomb continued to lead through the 2nd lap, coming through in 2:23, followed quickly by Blake Jarrell and Bryce Jarrell, matching that time. Woods was in 4th and Bee in 5th at 2:24 with Bowie in 6th at 2:25. On lap 3, the front 3 started to generate a gap on 4th and 5th, and they opened a gap on the rest of the field. After a couple lead changes, at the line, it was again Lipscomb with a slight lead on Blake Jarrell and Bryce Jarrell with all three coming through in 3:36. Bee was back into 4th at 3:39. Woods was in 5th at 3:40. Doddridge's Gage Smith had moved into 6th at 3:42. Bee remained in 4th at 6:18 with Woods still in 5th at 6:20. Smith had moved back into 6th at 6:24 with 3 others right on his heels. They had opened a slight gap on Blake Jarrell, who was at 8:40. Bee was still in 4th at 8:59 with Woods in 5th at 9:00. I think Smith was still in 6th at 9:07. Throught the first turn of the final lap, Lipscomb and Bryce Jarrell extended their lead on Blake Jarrell. Lipscomb continued to hold the lead as they headed into the final 200 meters, and the pace quickened at that point. Lipscomb continued to hold the lead through the turn, but Bryce Jarrell pulled alongside him as they exited the turn, and the final sprint was on. Lipscomb held the lead throught the first 40, then Jarrell shot past with about 40 to go. Then Lipscomb fought back to even it up heading into the final 20 meters, and then getting the final push to the finish line to take the win in 9:44.31 to Bryce Jarrell's 9:44.51. Blake Jarrell easily held the 3rd spot in 9:52.85. A very close race to the line for 4th saw Woods edge past Bee, but Bee got it back right at the line on the lean to take the 4th spot at 10:11.25 to 10:11.26 for Woods. Williamstown's Joshua Chambers used a strong final lap to take control of the 6th spot in 10:17.21.
